Andalusia

Andalucia is located in the south of the iberian peninsula and covers a surface of 87000 km². With 7 Mio. habitants the density of population is 80 inhab / km². Sevilla ( 1 000 000 inhabs.), Malaga (650 000 inhabs.) , and Cordoba (400 000 inhabs.) are the largest cities. The most beautiful nature aereas are Cabo de Gata, Coto de Doñana, Sierra de Aracena, Sierra de Cazorla and Segura, Sierra de Grazalema and Sierra de Nevada (skiing area) with Alpujarras and Torcal de Antequera. The approx. 850 km long and verry different coast consitsts of the secions: Coast of Sun , Coast from Almeria , Coast Tropical , Coast of Light. But not only on the beaches is many to explore, as well in the interior too.

Of course, not only the beach and the sun are fascinating, also the numerous festivals and celebrations are famouse and are reflecting the joy of live and the temper of the andalusian people. So have a nice trip to the Cabalgata de los Reyes Magos ( procession of the 3 hl.Kings), Erizada popular ( public sea-urchin, beginning of the carnival ), Carnaval en Cadiz, Semana Santa, (easter week) either at home on the screen or live in andalucia.
